Welcome to the Lackawanna Bar Association’s new and improved website!

Celebrating its 120th anniversary, the Lackawanna Bar Association remains committed to providing the highest level of service to its members and the community, and the development of this new website is one example. The association has over 700 members including judges, trial attorneys, government attorneys, public officials, and general practitioners offering a breadth of knowledge in the legal profession. Each year, the Lackawanna Bar Association hosts a number of events and activities designed to improve the practice of law, promote the administration of justice in the community, and educate the public.

2012 Law Month

May 1, 2012
We began Law Month with a Law Day Celebration that was held on the grounds of the Lackawanna County Courthouse. The theme for this year is “I Have A Dream…” inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1963 “March on Washington” speech.
