Welcome to the Lackawanna Bar Association’s new and improved website!

Celebrating its 120th anniversary, the Lackawanna Bar Association remains committed to providing the highest level of service to its members and the community, and the development of this new website is one example. The association has over 700 members including judges, trial attorneys, government attorneys, public officials, and general practitioners offering a breadth of knowledge in the legal profession. Each year, the Lackawanna Bar Association hosts a number of events and activities designed to improve the practice of law, promote the administration of justice in the community, and educate the public.

2011 Bench Bar Conference

The Lackawanna Bar Association has scheduled its 30th Annual Bench Bar Conference for Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Hilton in downtown Scranton. This conference provides attorneys and judges with continuing legal education and the opportunity to discuss ways of enhancing the administration of justice in Lackawanna County.
